CSIR-Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CEERI) is a premier research Institute in the

field of Electronics, set up under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). The Institute is looking for qualified candidates for the following purely temporary positions of Research Associate-I, Project Assistant- III/ Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Project Assistant- II, Project Fellow (PF), Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for various Projects going on in the Institute in Cyber Physical Systems, Smart Sensors and Microwave Devices Area:

Area & Positions :-
1. Cyber Physical Systems (CPS)
      Research Associate- I
Qualifications :-
Minimum 65% or 6.5 CGPA in M.Tech (CSE/ ECEI 35 years
Electronics & Instru.! EE/ IT/ C&I! Signal Processing/Computer Engg.! VLSI Designs/ Embedded systems Microelectronics) or equivalent + 02 Years Experience. OR Ph.D in relevant field.

Consolidated Emoluments per month (fixed) :- INR-36,000/-
Age :- 35 years

*Project Assistant -III! Senior Research Fellow

Qualifications :- Minimum 65% or 6.5 CGPA in ME/ M.Tech/ MS
(ECE/ Biomedical Engg.! Electronics & Instru.! EE/EEE/ Agri Electronics/ VLSI Design! CSE/Control Engg.! Control Systems/ Microelectronics/Signal Processing! VLSI Design! 2) Smart Sensors(SS)
Project Assistant - III
Qualification :- Minimum 65% or 6.5 CGPA in ME/ M.Tech/ MS

Junior Research Fellow

Qualification :- Minimum 65% or 6.5 CGPA in M.Tech (ECE /Electronic Design and Technology/ Microelectronics VLSI Designs/ Electronics/ MEMS/ Instrumentatioru Nano and MEMS Technology) or equivalent.

3) Microwave Devices (MWD)

Project Fellow

Qualification :- Minimum 65% or 6.5 CGPA in BE/ B.Tech/ M.Sc (ECE/ Chemical Technology/ Material Science/ Electronics) or equivalent.


Consolidated Emoluments per month (fixed) :- INR-16,000/

Age :- 30 years

Junior Research Fellow

Qualification :- Minimum 65% or 6.5 CGPA in BE/ B.Tech (ECE/ Microwave, Nanotechnology, Chemical Technology,
Material Science) or equivalent.

Consolidated Emoluments per month (fixed) :- INR-25,000/

Age :- 30 years

*One vacancy ofPA-III is for CSIR- CEERI Delhi Centre, New Delhi.

Important Information:

1. The total numbers of vacancies tentatively are 47, out of these vacancies 01 vacancy of PA-III is for

CSIR- CEERI Delhi Centre, New Delhi.

2. On the basis of the performance in interview a panel will be made for each of the Area i.e, CPS, SS, MWD.

The number of empanelled candidates may vary from the number of positions.

3. The candidates from this panel will be offered the position as per the suitability & requirement of the

projects. Hence, it may possible that all the empanelled candidates may not get an offer, since it depends on

their suitability & requirements of the projects only.

4. The panel will be valid for six months.

Benefits :-

1. Registration for Ph.D.: The facility for Ph.D. registration shall be allowed to those Project Staff who

have worked for a minimum period of two year and have at least cleared CSIR-UGC Lecture Ship (NET)

or GATE examination or published 0 I papers in international peer reviewed lSI indexed journals.

2. Project Staff will be provided OPD Medical facilities through CSIR-CEERI dispensary for self only.

3. Leave: Project Staff shall be permitted to avail leave as per the existing rule (12 days leave in a year).

However, in extra-ordinary circumstances Principal Investigator of the Project and/ or Director of the

laboratory may provide relaxation in the rules considering the exigency.

4. Project Staff will be entitled for TAIDA as per eligibility while on official tour.


Instructions:

1. Candidates who have already served CSIR-CEERI or any other 1ab/ institute of CSIR as any Project

Assistant/ Project Fellow/ JRF (in contract R&D projects)/ SRF (in contract R&D projects)/ Research

Associate etc. for a total period of 5 years or more are not eligible for these engagements. The candidates who

have served for a period less than 5 years will have tenure upto remaining period till completion of five years.

2. Tenure of engagement: Six months initially or co-terminus with the present project or till such time the job to

be performed by Project Staff in the project exists, whichever is earlier. The tenure may be extended in steps

of six months for the duration of Project based on satisfactory performance. The total tenure as

Research Associate- I, Project Assistant - II1I11,JRF/ SRF etc. shall not exceed 5 years in any case. The total

tenure of five years shall be calculated as per periods spent on one Project and! or different Projects taken

together in CSIR-CEERI, Pilani and! or any other Lab.! Instt. of CSIR as RA, Project Assistant Level IIIIIIII

etc. or as any other designation of equal status.

3. Reservation: As regards reservation, if all things are equal, SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates may be given

preference over General candidates so as to ensure their representation.

4. The engagement of Research Associate- I, Project Assistant - II1111,JRF/ SRF etc. will be made on behalf of

the Sponsor of the Projects. These are not CSIR-CEERIlCSIR posts and will not confer any right on the

incumbent to claim, implicit or explicit, on any post in CSIR-CEERIICSIR.

5. Relaxation in age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PH and women shall be 5 years.

6. In case a large number of candidates tum up for Walk-in-interview, Selection/Screening Committee will have

discretion to shortlist the candidates for interview based on written examination or percentage of marks.

7. CSIR-CEERI reserve the right to cancel or withdraw the award in case of any discrepancy found, in the

candidature of any empanelled candidate at any stage.

8. Other terms & conditions will be governed as per guidelines issued by the funding agency/CSIR Hqrs. for the
engagement of above Project Staff as amended from time to time.
Candidate who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria on the date of interview may appear for "Walk-in-Interview" at CSIR-CEERI. PHani as under, with his/her Bio-data in the prescribed proforma, alongwith original documents of qualifications semester-wise/year-wise, experience, date of birth and community certificate, if any (not
older than 06 months in case of OBC) with one set of attested copies thereof

*If the number of the candidates are large then, the interview may be continued for next day. The candidates are

advised to make their arrangement accordingly.

The candidates will be free to answer in Hindi during interview.

No candidate shall be allowed for registration after 11:00 am on the date of interview.

No TAIDA for appearing for interview will be paid to candidates.
